Camera Critters

I took this photo at the Sydney Easter Show earlier this year. This alpaca had a long conversation with me. I’m not sure what he was saying, but he was certainly cute with his tufty ears.

He is so adorable! I would take him home with me, but I don’t think he’d fit in my apartment.

He is cute, isn’t he? I’d love him at my place too. Mr. Munro might not be too happy if it trampled on his garden though.

O wow! He certainly does look as if he is engrossed in conversation with you! And those ears have so much character!

  4. Nessa

He is cute. He’d make a great critter in a scifi story.

You got an excellent photo showing the animals personality! lol Whenever I try to get pictures of my animals they always turn around. I have lots of pictures of furry behinds.

Alpaca’s are very cute and can be sweet animals to have around ….plus their hair makes some incredible yarn

    Great photo, Shelley.

Debra, your comment made me laugh cos it’s so true.

Nessa – thank you for this! I’m actually puzzling about a sci-fi at the moment and needed an animal. I don’t know why this never occurred to me!

Gemma – he was definitely a chatty little fellow.

Debra – this is so true! When we went to Africa and toured the game parks we had a running joke about who got the best “bum” shots. Animals and children…they never cooperate!

Maria – clothes made out of alpaca hair are so gorgeous. Expensive though.

Jenny – nodding. Animals aren’t usually very cooperative when I’m trying to take photos.

Cute! We were selling a car a couple of years ago, and someone wanted to trade for an interest in an alpaca. We did go up to visit the ranch. It was quite fun, esp. for the kids. We didn’t do the deal though.
