Vampires, Werewolves or Ghosts…oh, my!

My guest today is author Sloan McBride. Sloan kicked off her tour on 25 October to celebrate her new blog called McBride’s Mayhem. If you follow the rest of Sloan’s blog tour you’ll learn more about her and her books. Over to Sloan…

I’m glad it’s Friday. Halloween is two days away. It’s great to be here with Shelley Munro. Thanks for having me.

I was at a Goodwill store the other day and I met a guy in line who had an arm full of books. He told me that he came to return something for his wife then laughed because he thought he was spending more on the books than he got for returning the item. I laughed too because I know how he feels when it comes to books.

Q: Have you written stories about vampires, werewolves or ghosts?

A: Vampires and werewolves, no, but I love reading them. That’s not to say I won’t be writing one or both in the future. I do have a storyline for a ghost book involving three best friends. I hope to have that one out in the not too distant future, but there are so many stories and so little time.

Please leave a comment today and be entered for the prize. Thank you for tagging along.

I always end up spending way to much on books too. I know the feeling all too well.

I like stories about Vampires, Werewolves and Ghosts. Pretty much any and all paranormal type books are great.

I love paranormal romance including ghosts and spirits. Unfortunately, we don’t celebrate Halloween in Japan although the shops have Halloween themed decorations. But I like the season and wish that I live in a country where I could go ‘trick or treating”!

I always end up spending too much on books too, but since I love paranormal romances, there is always a new and unique story that catches my interest that I just can’t pass up.

Speaking of Goodwill, that’s where my boys would end up around Halloween for costume inspiration. A little bit of everything to choose from, and you can’t beat the prices.

    Happy Halloween Sloan and Shelley

Walking into the book section is a no no for me. I always leave with a huge amount of books.. I am an addict.

I adore my paranormal books esp vampires…

Sloan good luck with the rest of the tour.

Yeah, I pretty much can’t go into any store without checking out their book section – and buying something!

 Yeah, I always spend too much on books and look at all your choices now. So many wonderful authors and I just can’t get enough reading.

If you all love paranormals, don’t forget that’s what I write….(hint, hint).

Thank you all for joining me today. I will be announcing the winner of the prize on November 1st at my blog site.

    Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Hi Sloan – I love paranormal stories and I’ve already checked out your books.

It’s difficult to go into any bookshop without buying something. Even online bookstores are dangerous!!!

  9. Jane Squires

I’m not a fan of paranormal at all. I have not read any of Sloan McBrides books.
I love to shop Goodwill and any thrift store. I have gobs of books here and never enough. I’m always getting more. I began to review every book I’ve read this year and love it. I also pass books on so others can enjoy.

Jane – that’s the great thing about romance. There’s something for all tastes. Good luck with all the reviews.

  11. Sloan McBride

Thanks Shelley. I hope you love reading them as much as I do writing them.

Jane, I have to agree that you can never get enough books. I’m sorry you don’t like paranormal, but like Shelley said, that’s what great about romance….many different choices.

As long as we read, and read, and read, what does it matter what we read?

Have a great Saturday. Play with a ghost or goblin or vampire and I’ll see you on Halloween.
