This is Crater Lake National Park in Oregon and one of my favorite spots. The color of the lake is just gorgeous—a deep blue. The lake is actually an old volcano caldera and you can drive around to view the lake and the crater from different spots.
Mr Munro and I dined at the lodge here and had a berry cobbler for dessert. I have fond memories of that cobbler. Yum!
What a lovely place! Are you still in the States? If your travels bring you through Chicago, martinis are on me! :)
Safe travels!
This is an older photo of a previous trip, but I’ll definitely shout out if we head in your direction in the future. I’d love to meet in person. :)
That is a gorgeous spot! And yay for yummy desserts :D
It is really pretty, Anna. Both hubby and I loved it. Dessert is an important part of a meal *grin*
Gotta love a nice scenic spot and great desserts too.
The US has some gorgeous National Parks, and this is one of my favorites.
