Froggie Went A Courtin’

Look what Mr. Munro found in our garden during the weekend…

Isn’t he handsome? We don’t live anywhere near a pond and it’s a big mystery as to how he arrived in our garden. He made Mr. Munro start when he jumped from beneath a bag of compost. Hubby thought he might be lonely, so he found him a friend…

He stayed around for a while before hopping away into the depths of our garden. The only problem is that I have this song inside my head now.

Did you find anything interesting in your garden during the weekend? Did you do anything exciting during the weekend?

 I love frogs. The only news I got this weekend was that my hubby’s days and hours might change at his job again.

  2. Gabriele

Aw, he’s cute. Did you try to kiss him?

  3. Roberta Harwell

Didn’t do anything exciting this weekend. My hubby took his truck out and went 4 wheeling in the mountains. Love the frog. We have several around here right now because of all the rain we’ve been having.

    Have a great day.

It rained the entire weekend and my kids were off to with thier dad vsiting relatives for the long holiday weekend. I read Summer in the City of Sails which I loved beyond reason!

OMG, what great photos! That’s such a cute frog.

Nothing exciting happening here outside– least I don’t know about it.

And good question, did you try to kiss that cute frog? Maybe underneath he was really a sexy hero just stopping by for a visit!

He’s too pretty. I thought he was a work of art.

OMG, Gabriele! I missed an opportunity. I didn’t even think about kissing the frog. I mean hubby was right there… I might have upset my present-giving hubby.

Deanna – good or bad news?

Roberta – my hubby worked off and on but it meant I managed to do a lot of housework and that ironing pile I mentioned last week – gone!!

Voronda – I’m sorry to hear about the rain, but that’s perfect for reading. I’m so glad you enjoyed Summer in the City of Sails.

If you liked that one you might like Playing to Win or Tea For Two. Both are contemporary with a bit of humor. Playing to Win has more of a suspense element.

Kaye – LOL – it kept jumping so I wasn’t game to get close enough to kiss!!

Alice – I thought he was very handsome.

we were in Cape May NJ, part of the Jersey Shore. It was windy and still a bit chilly but it was nice to search for seashells on the sand after a long winter. Also the usual guests of bunnies and ducks paraded around the yards. And along the parkway were fawns nibbling the grass. Didn’t catch any on film though. but nice to know spring is really here. So is the weather turning colder in NZ yet?

Marissa – that sounds like fun. I love walks on the beach, even if the weather isn’t so good. We had great weather for Easter with something like three Highs hanging around over the top of NZ. It is colder though. I’m still wearing shorts but I’ve had to hunt out my jeans for evenings.
