Jaime on September 5, 2010 at 12:11 am We see deer often where we live. They are quite beautiful — until they dart out in front of you at night!
Shelley Munro on September 5, 2010 at 12:56 am Jaime – I can imagine that would be scary. We do have deer in New Zealand, but they’re mostly farmed. They’re only wild in a few places.
Nikki-ann on September 5, 2010 at 7:43 am He/She looks hungry! :) We don’t see creatures like that in the wild around here.
Becky on September 5, 2010 at 9:21 am Oh, how cute! You always get such great pictures Shelley. I can never get close enough to get a good photo. Something always scares them off. lol
Shelley Munro on September 5, 2010 at 12:36 pm Nessa – we always love spotting them when we visit the US. We don’t have the range of wild animals that you do. Our only native mammal is a bat and I’ve never seen one of those.
Shelley Munro on September 5, 2010 at 12:42 pm Nikki-ann – no we don’t either as a rule. I take most of these shots when I’m traveling. Becky – I do have a lot of “bum” shots. Most animals don’t their photos being taken.
Heather on September 6, 2010 at 9:36 pm Great shot! We have a doe with two fawns in our area, but I have not seen them in a while.
Manz on September 8, 2010 at 10:18 pm sorry my deer… you were seen and captured on camera for the whole world to see you… and enjoy you :)
