Clandestine Lovers ~ Now available for Pre-order

Clandestine Lovers

Clandestine Lovers, book 3 in the Friendship Chronicles series is now available for pre-order.

Here’s the blurb:

Think finding the perfect lover is difficult? Ask Susan Webb—-she knows it is. Lonely, tired of dull routine and dud men who only think with their lower brains, she takes a calculated risk to shake up her lackluster life.

Now she’s set to take part in a reality dating show. Her objective: to find a good, honest man who’s up for enjoying lots of sexy fun on the road to love. Failure is not an option.

One look at his older brother’s Farmer Seeks a Wife candidate, and Tyler Penrith is intrigued. Prim and proper on the surface, she has a secret smile in her eyes and an exotic dancer sway to her step. And calamity follows her around like a tame dragon.

Susan might be in his brother’s age group, but Tyler’s not about to let Nolan waltz off with the first woman to snare his attention in ages.

As the show’s ratings go through the roof, Susan finds herself falling for the wrong man—and her simple plan for happiness on the brink of falling apart.

Warning: Contains sibling rivalry, lots of sneaking around, sexy times in the great outdoors, a bright blue vibrator, and a reality show that’s giving everyone something to talk about.

ShelleyMunro_MySecondChance_600x900

Here’s the blurb:

Lion shifter Leticia Huntingdon has FIV, the feline version of AIDS. For months she’s been in remission, treated by Gavin Finley, the Middlemarch feline doctor. Now the disease has returned. Her feelings for Gavin can’t go anywhere because of the FIV, so it shouldn’t hurt when Gavin turns to Charlie, the new male cop.

Gavin can’t believe how good sex is with Charlie, can’t believe he’s found a mate. The loving is amazing and hot, but Gavin can’t forget Leticia. He wants her in his life. He wants Charlie too. Confusion and jealousy create torrid undercurrents for the trio.

Charlie McKenzie falls for Gavin quickly and can’t understand why he’s attracted to Leticia. A nightmare changes everything, drawing the three together and bringing new possibilities. A ménage a trois. Raw need and passion brings them closer. If only the disease threatening Leticia’s life didn’t loom on the horizon…

It’s All About Family

ShelleyMunro_MyScarletWoman_200pxAll the Middlemarch Shifter stories are set in my home country of New Zealand. I didn’t start out to write a series. In fact my aim was to write a paranormal story featuring black leopard shifters. But it soon became obvious that the brothers I’d given Saber Mitchell, the hero of My Scarlet Woman, weren’t there for decoration. The Mitchell brothers were a close-knit family, and all of Saber’s brothers wanted their time in the spotlight. Then there is Emily, the heroine of My Scarlet Woman, who will turn into quite the matchmaker as the series advances. Her presence in the Mitchell family helps to shape many of the Middlemarch Shifter stories.

At the start of My Scarlet Woman, Saber Mitchell is tired of his younger brothers creating chaos in the town of Middlemarch. They and their friends are always getting into trouble. And I mean always! Saber is starting to worry about gray hair and his sanity. Finally the town elders hatch a plan to hold a singles ball. They figure they’ll do a little matchmaking. A few good women will settle the troublemakers right down. But oops! Saber gets caught in his own trap. One glimpse of Emily Scarlet and Saber is toast.

Ten Things About Family According to Mitchell Law

1. Younger brothers exist for the sole purpose of driving their older brothers crazy, and big brothers are excellent targets for teasing.

2. Family members love you warts and all and know exactly which buttons to push to create chaos.

3. Brothers are the best when you need someone in your corner.

4. Big brothers change once they get married—for the better.

5. Sisters-in-law aren’t so bad, especially if they can cook.

6. Try to avoid sisters-in-law who want to make everyone else as happy as they are.

7. Expectation from family members can be tough.

8. Beware matchmaking sisters-in-law. It bears repeating!

9. Family is always there for you, no matter how big the problem.

10. Family is everything. Family rules.

I’m the oldest in my family, and my two younger siblings used to drive me nuts. Now that we’re adults things are much better! Which order do you come in your family? Do your siblings drive you nuts?

The Nocturne Falls Series by Kristen Painter

The Nocturne Falls Series

The Vampire's Mail Order BrideLast month I picked up a copy of The Vampire’s Mail Order Bride, book 1 of the Nocturne Falls series and I loved it so much, I emailed Kristen Painter, the author, and asked her about her paranormal series.

Tell us a little about the town of Nocturne Falls.

It’s a fun place that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year, which gives all of its supernatural citizens the perfect cover to be themselves.

I love your Nocturne Falls series. How did you come up with the idea?

Thanks! I spent Thanksgiving in a town called Helen, GA, once. It’s basically a place that decided to re-invent itself as a German hamlet for tourist purposes. I thought, hey why not do the same thing with Halloween?

So far you’ve introduced vampires, werewolves, gargoyles and witches. Can you give us a little clue about what is next for Nocturne Falls?

More vampires, werewolves, witches, a dragon shifter, a panther shifter, and who knows, maybe even a mermaid. Anything’s possible!

If you were to live in Nocturne Falls, what paranormal character would you be and why?

I’m going to have to go with vampire. Preferably one with the Ellingham “gift” of being able to walk in daylight.
