Hubby and I have been taking a lot of photos with our new camera. Here is a selection of moon shots. It’s amazing seeing the craters so clearly.
This is the moon as we saw it from our back yard with no magnification.
A little zoom and the shadows and craters are more obvious.
Hubby thinks the placement of the craters is why people speak of the man in the moon.
And here’s a close up of his face.
This one is zoomed up even more, and you can see the craters.
Would you like to fly into space or become an astronaut? Did you want to be an astronaut while you were growing up?
Those are great shots. Hubby has a telescope that we take out sometimes when the moon is full and can see the craters with. I never wanter to be an astronaut, flying has never been my thing.
I imagine one day travel to outer space will be common place. I’d love to see Earth from space. The photos I’ve seen have been amazing.
Oh , man. All I ever get is a white blur, even when I use a DSLR and a tripod. I am so jealous.
Hubby used a tripod with these shots. When we were researching cameras hubby saw a video of moon shots. He thought they were exaggerating, which was why he wanted to try taking his own moon photos.
These are awesome shots, I’m so intrigued by the galaxy, the moon, sun and stars. Just imagine the world out there apart from what we know…all the unknown. Fires the imagination, doesn’t it?
Me too, Nas. So much interesting, undiscovered stuff to learn about.
Wow…you camera must be really good… those are fantastic photos. Last few days the sun’s been red over here from the bush fires. Scary.
It wasn’t very expensive, but it has a good zoom on it. We wanted it to get some decent travel shots.
That’s incredible! I went outside and took pictures of the moon a few nights ago, and they turned out nothing like this. Have fun with the new camera.
I went looking for it to tell everyone the brand, but I think hubby has it at work. It’s a Canon.
Very cool — and now I’m experiencing a bit of camera envy!
