Edits have kept me busy for the last week. I’ve completed those now, but writing stuff continues to take up my free time—my self-imposed deadlines before I head off to Singapore.
We’re officially on summer time in New Zealand now and losing one hour has kicked my butt this year. I actually went to sleep in my chair this afternoon. The puppy was piled on top of me, and I thought I’d listen to the end of my audio book – the first in the Agatha Raisin series by MC Beaton. The last I remember was learning the identity of the quiche murderer. I woke up when puppy leaped off my knee because hubby had arrived home from work. My audio book had started over and reached chapter three. And to think I used to laugh at my father…
Mr Munro took these photos. He’s since purchased a tripod, but the moon hasn’t made an appearance for a few nights. He’s waiting impatiently for its reappearance.
What’s happening in your world?
It’s fall here. But still feels like summer.
It’s dark now when I get up so getting up early to write has been a real CHORE!
Nodding. There’s something about daylight that makes it much easier to get up in the mornings.
Wow, just wow at those awesome photos. My dad gave my husband a telescope on a tripod where we can set it up outside and look at the moon really closely. My dad bought it for himself but quickly got bored with it. But to be able to take pictures is so cool.
I’ve listened to 2 audio books and I don’t like it as much as reading them.
Hubby is in love with his new camera. He took photos of Venus last night. The moon is hiding at the moment.
With audio books, a lot depends on the narrator. If you listen to a good narrator it makes all the difference. Try the In Death series by JD Robb. The narrator for that series is excellent.
Those are beautiful pictures!
I’m always shocked when I fall asleep in the middle of the day–and then I think of my father too. :)
Wow, those are some awesome photos. I think I have camera envy!
